NSW: Police suspend Eastern Creek racing after driver dies

SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - Police have suspended all operations at Sydney's Eastern Creek
Raceway following the death of a driver who smashed into a wall during a speed demonstration
today.

A 29-year-old Queensland man was killed when his 1989 Queensland-registered car crashed
through a barrier and into a concrete wall before bursting into flames.

He suffered multiple injuries and severe burns and was pronounced dead shortly after
arrival at Blacktown Hospital, police said.
