SA: Man seriously injured in attack at Elizabeth Downs

A man has been seriously injured in an attack at Elizabeth Downs in Adelaide's north
early this morning.

Police say the man, in his mid-40s, was admitted to the Lyell McEwin Hospital just
after 1.30am (CST).

Police questioned witnesses at the hospital and later arrested two men in their mid-30s
at a house in Elizabeth Downs.

They were charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and released on bail.

Both men will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on January 3.

The victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
