Qld: New air training centre for Brisbane
Boeing and Virgin Blue plan to set up a joint pilot training centre in Brisbane.
Queensland Premier PETER BEATTIE says the centre will provide flight simulators, piloteducation and aircraft maintenance training.
Mr BEATTIE says it's expected the centre will sit alongside the planned Virgin Bluejet maintenance facility, with the combined projects employing around 350 people.
FlightSafety Boeing Training International will operate three of the centre's fourfull-flight simulators.
